Natascha visits one of smallest schools in constituency

Local MP Natascha Engel spent time answering questions about her life as an MP from pupils and parents in the morning family assembly, when she visited Penny Acres Primary School on Friday 26 October 2012.  The school in Holmesfield is one of the smallest in the constituency and is described by some locals as a “Little Jewel.”

Penny Acres Primary School has 33 pupils in total and on the recent inspection by Ofsted, was described as having “a family atmosphere where everyone counts.”  The whole school and staff assembled to have a photograph taken with Natascha.

Natascha said after “It is one of my favourite things to visit schools in the constituency.  I am always amazed by the amount of interest and time the young people take in the politics of our country and the job that I do.  On this occasion I was able to spend some time talking individually to some pupils and it is always good to engage with parents and listen to their concerns.”
