On June 24th, I became a founding member of the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) 2015 All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) in Westminster.
CRY is a non-profit UK charity established to save young lives and help those affected. It is preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, support, screening and research, and supports the families of those who suddenly die from cardiac conditions.
I believe that all young people should be given the best chance to live their lives to the fullest. This is why I decided to become a founding member of CRY, to help the charity achieve their goals.
I am therefore eagerly looking forward to the future APPG meetings in Westminster where we can hopefully make this goal happen.
