The official launch of the Community Save A Life Scheme (CSALS) world record attempt took place at the Proact Stadium in Chesterfield last week.

CSALS are working with Bolsover District Council, Rotary International, Chesterfield Football Club, the British Heart Foundation, the Inner Wheel and the East Midlands Ambulance Service to break the Guinness World Record for the most people undertaking First Aid training in a single session.

The record currently stands at 1,700 and CSALS are hoping to teach 3,000 people basic life-saving skills at the Proact Stadium on 20 May from 10am. Come and join in for free.
