Derbyshire County Council is facing unprecedented cuts to its budget from the Government. By 2020 the funding is expected to be more than a third less in 2010 and this is forcing the council to cut back on the services it provides.
Local residents are being asked to put their views forward by taking part in two consultations that are currently being carried out.
You can take part in the consultation into subsidised local bus and community transport services here.
Derbyshire County Council is also being forced to consider closing 32 of its children’s centres because of these cuts. Among the planned closures are Clay Cross, Tupton, Eckington, Killamarsh and Dronfield.
Families are being asked to share their opinions on these closures before 4 April. Click here to take part.
